Monster In Disguise

by Kacie   Dec 12, 2004

All you ever do is hit her
You’re a monster in disguise
I just don’t get how you could do that
When you’re the one she idolizes

She's only a little girl
Just seven years old
But you still hit her
Even if she does what she's told

You scream at her
And call her names
I just wish to you
Someone would do the same

How would you feel
If you were put into her shoes
If you had to go through what you put her through
What would you do?

She's such a sweet little girl
That your suppose to love so very much
But you don’t seem to care
You just scream at her telling her she's not good enough

I don’t get how she can look up to you
You’re a poor excuse for a human being
You’re a monster in disguise
You are not what you seem

Put your hand down
Don’t you dare hit her again
If you keep hitting her like that
She wont live to see ten

You don’t think what your doing
To her is a crime
You should be locked up in jail
But she's the one who's done the time

I hope to god she finds the strength
To make it through
And I hope to god she doesn’t
Grow up to be anything like you

You’re a monster in Disguise
But you cant hide it from me
I see it in your eyes
