Envy

by Cecilie   Dec 13, 2004

I rest my head and hide my feelings there. While I kick the floorboards and watch my hopes dance in the air. I´m throwing my soul at you.

But you're still remembering how beautiful her hair looked as she walked away.

You rest your head and store your feelings. While you clutch the pictures in your hand and let your tears come.

You're remembering how beautiful her hair looked between your fingers.

I'll stand right there and look into your soul, secretly wishing for kisses, and you'll tell me how much you miss her.

And I'll struggle not to cry.
