Travesty

by ReBecca   Dec 14, 2004

I don't know why I come back to this site,
again, and again.
To the anger, the hurt,
the travesty you cant win.

I feel your broken hearts,
and your shattered dreams.
I hear your mournful cries,
and nightmarish screams.

I know I come back,
because I feel your pain and loss.
I feel you sacrifice yourself,
on God's great Cross.

I can't bear the thought,
of any of you being alone.
So I keep coming back,
to tell you what I've known.

It's nothing better.
No way to equate,
what another has chose
to desecrate.

I'll probably keep coming back,
again and again.
Hoping I can change,
the travesty you cant win.

Very good write. The entire way I like the way you described the subject matter but didn't come outright and say it. I think that sometimes that is a better way to explain things, and you did it perfectly.
