No Again’s [to my dad]

by vanessa   Dec 14, 2004

If I was to choose once more,
I won’t choose you no more.
You gave me hope, but took it back.
You kept me from holding back.

But if I had the chance to fill the gap,
I would hug you ‘till my existence laps.

You always stressed, “I’d be gone one day.”
I knew you weren’t gonna stay.

So if I knew, how come I screwed?
Was this life meant for but a little shrew?

Hoping that I’ll live again,
Sacrificing all the things, will never be again.
Including that day,
That day when you said you’d be gone one day.
