Alone

by teresa   Dec 15, 2004

She sits alone in her room
Trying not to cry
Trying to think of reasons
Not to want to die
This isn’t the forts time
She’s been like this
This isn’t the forts time
She’s been this pissed
The only escape she sees
Is to run back to the knife
The only escape she sees
Is to take her life
And as she sets the knife
On her wrist
She feels a shooting pain
That reminds her she still exists
She cuts as deep as she can get
Before she slowly fades away
She left this world so quickly
With nothing left to say
No one ever knew or cared
Why she turned to suicide
No one ever knew
All the pain she kept inside
She went to her classes
With no one knowing
That if she showed her arms
Hundreds of scars would be showing
All everyone did was ignore her
And treated her like air
All they did was just react her
Like she wasn’t there
No one paid any attention
When she started to cry
No one ever listened
When she said she wanted to die
And when everyone was told
That one of their classmates died
No one even cared
That no one said good bye
