Guilty...

by Jaclyn   Dec 15, 2004

What once was a boy
Is now a grown man
He's put down his toy
And started a bigger plan

His mother who was once proud
To call her son her own
Can't even look him in the face
How he is all alone

A plan for murder
Is no plan at all
Now all his mother can do is cry
As she watches her husband fall

The young man
Didn't know what to do
His mother screamed
He didn't have anyone to turn to

He dropped the knife
And took a step back
He'd just ended his fathers life
His future seemed black

Now as he stood before a judge and jury
And they asked "How do you plea?"
He blinked back tears took a breath
And answered...

"Guilty"
