The Signs to the Queen

by FTS Miles   Dec 16, 2004

Six signs were given
In days gone passed
By which to know Her
Present waiting form...

The first would come
By the Bond of Eternity
When Her silent cries come
Roaring 'cross the Night.

The second would come
If She knew your Mind
And fashioned words
From unmoved lips.

The third would come
If She spoke your Dreams
And gave unto you cherished
Visions of your bygone days.

The fourth would come
If upon her hand was
Borne in silver lattice
The jewel by her mother.

The fifth would come
When you leap with Faith
And in Her loving arms
You are sustained in health.

And the sixth would come
When She raises Her gaze
And in Her honeyed orbs
You know Her by Her eyes.

All this by storm, and wind,
And autumn leaves will She o'ercome
The barriers in your soul.

And under moon and in seventh act
Shall a silver bond revive your
Ancient vows with your
Once and Future Queen.

And you know that wherever
She might in Future be,
You shall find Her for
Thus in the Light
Is your Love written.

This poem is absolutly lovely. The imagery and symbolism is beautiful and every line is used with a lovely effect.

    "The first would come
    By the Bond of Eternity
    When Her silent cries come
    Roaring 'cross the Night."

I really admire that stance. The symbolism is beautiful and the choice of which to put it was both powerful and lovely. Great job
