Here lies...

by SammiBABY   Dec 16, 2004

A long healthy life she did not lead,
Her dreams all failed, she didn’t succeed.
A thousand cuts, a million tears cried,
Still no one wanted this to end in suicide.
Driven by regret from her painful past,
Her attempt succeeded at long last.
Found on the floor, covered in red,
Taken to hospital, already dead.
She left a letter on the floor,
saying she didn’t want to live anymore.
“There’s too much pain, I’m too depressed,
There’s no reason to live, when I just want to rest.”
Simple words but painfully strong,
Her parents left to wonder where they went wrong.
So now the sun sets and reavels the shining moon,
We say “here lies the girl who was taken way too soon.”
