I miss you

Its been a year now,
And Ive tried to get through.
I'm trying to get over it,
I'm trying not to miss you,

But it's just so hard,
Cant you see?
Me and you were friends,
And what happened--cant be.

Now I think about you every night,
And pray that you're alright.
You are my magical angel,
You are my guiding light.

And even though you're gone,
Part of you still linger with me.
Showing me the faith and love,
That will forever be in my memories.

That car crash took your life,
It should have been me,
Not you that night.
But I guess you're in a better place.

A place where all light shows.
You can look upon me everyday,
And see that my pain glows.

And before I end this poem,
Again I'm going to say.
I love you my best friend,
And ill love you everyday.
