I wont cry.
you cant make me break
I'll stand with dry eyes.
My pride, you can't take.

Your harsh words rip me,
from my solitude so serene.
So i run blindly
I will leave your horrors unseen

Your harsh words tear me open
starting from within.
but no tears will slip by.
I will hide behind my artificial skin.

She sobs on my shoulder
you broke her down
but i will not cry.
No tears will slip by.

I can look within
get lost in my words
So i don't need to cry
Tears need not slip by.

    Hey I really like this one. Excellent title and piece. I love how in the begginning it seems almost as if your venting and argueing with someone. Then the fourth stanza opens up the full development of it all.

    I love these lines:
    "but no tears will slip by.
    I will hide behind my artificial skin."

    Good choice of words. Deffinite 5/5
