My GrandMa

by Michelle   Dec 17, 2004

She was the one, who taught me how to live this day,
She was the angel of my life, who kept me in line.
She had a special place in our families’ hearts.
She was the one, to keep us happy,
She was the one who would never lie.
She would always get mad at us if we made a little sigh.
She taught me how to grow up, to live a happy life.
She taught me about living life to the fullest,
And made sure, I will always follow my dreams.
She was the one who took me into her family-
As one of her grandchildren.
She cheered me on as I went to eight grade
She cheered me on as I got a boyfriend.
She loved anyone
She cared for the nature.
She would nourish the hurt bluebirds,
And make sure they flew home safely.
Though ten years of suffering had stricken her,
She fulfilled her life.
She had a wonderful husband,
Raised two perfect children,
And was a wonderful wife.
Finally her day came-
Which will never be forgotten,
Yet, I know she’s behind me,
Watching as I go on.
She’ll be in my heart as i graduate-
She’ll be there when I have her great grand child.
She’ll be in my heart at my wedding.
I will miss her passionately-
But her spirit is with me.
So behind me I'll put my worries-
Because I know
Some day we’ll be together again.

The last words she said to me was,
"I love you baby".
Those four words will
Remain with me-
Eternally.

I love you and
I miss you.
