I think your partner and you are onto something. I can see where others might not track what you are suggesting, but that's a lapse in experience, not your writing.

Hmm, I definetely did like it- I liked your last stanza the best, I think it provided better flow than the rest. But definetely it is a very unique piece of work. Well done.
