Teddy dear, I love you

by Nici   Dec 18, 2004

Teddy dear, I love you, the comfort of your smell
The warmth of all your cuddles, knowing my secrets you’ll never tell

I love your button nose and those beady little eyes
The way they look back at me every time I cry

I never want to leave you, always have you by my side
If only I could be like you, then in the house I’d hide

Hide away from sorrow and all the worlds’ cruel mess
Never to grow up in age and hibernate from stress

Teddy dear, I love you; I hope you love me too
As I wrote for you this poem, my love it always grew
