Teddy dear, I love you, the comfort of your smell The warmth of all your cuddles, knowing my secrets you’ll never tell I love your button nose and those beady little eyes The way they look back at me every time I cry I never want to leave you, always have you by my side If only I could be like you, then in the house I’d hide Hide away from sorrow and all the worlds’ cruel mess Never to grow up in age and hibernate from stress Teddy dear, I love you; I hope you love me too As I wrote for you this poem, my love it always grew
