The highest rated poems on the very first page.

I look at the first page,
The website is art,
We help fill it with words,
That come from the heart,
And what most of us want,
Is a thing that I hate,
A much envied spot,
The very first place.
First page, First poem,
Highest rated of all,
It makes us feel gifted,
It makes us feel tall.
But a place on that page,
Is something I'd loath,
I'd feel so stupid,
I'd feel so exposed.
I'd feel like I'm writing,
For the acceptance of you,
And acceptance is something,
I never plan to do.
My words are different,
All to my taste,
Not bland for an audience,
Or written in haste.
The works on the first page,
Are really quite dull,
Given all fives,
When they deserve null.
This is my say,
I'll say it loud,
I don't care what you rate,
It stands tall and proud,
You want to write for the masses,
Thats fine by me,
But popular shit,
Isn't writing free.
And when you are lying,
Awake in your bed,
Just think about it,
