Do you see?

by Lushed   Dec 19, 2004

Do you see me hanging?
My frail body sick and weak?
Do you see me dying?
From your words so oblique?

I am wrapped in torment.
Blood dripping from my frame.
Do you see my weak eyes drooping?
Numbing all my pain?

I refuse.
Never again will i lie.
Never again will i fake a smile.
Never again will you turn a blind eye.

Look at me hanging.
Look at me alone.
Look at me and see,
what you have always known.

awesome poem, the repetition in the third and fourth stanza is especially useful to make your poem more meaningful, great work! 5/5 definitely!

I dont know who gave this anything lower than a 5, but I must say this poem is particularily awesome.

I love the statement it makes. The weakness in conviction of another, and in the self, or the physical aspect of one.

Truly a grabbing poem. Excellent! 5/5
