One Down

by Michael   Dec 19, 2004

And so here we are, running blindly into the headlights.
While the world cries on it's knees
Begging and pleading for an end
"Here take this gun, because sometimes dieing is better than living this life they stole from us"
And with the gun to his head
He takes his final breath
He screams "Curse this life and all who's guilty of it's pain. And with all it's hatred and shame, who's one to point the blame? To say I'm right and you're wrong. If we were to rid our differences and crush our factions, you would all notice we all sing this same song." The trigger is pulled and with a loud bang a true soldier is killed. His heart which was once filled with the love and kindness to end this world hatred is now spilled. Across the floor which a million people stepped. Across this floor where even more people wept. His soul is now free and once again pure. One's down, how many will it take for you to notice. One's down, how many more?
