Beautiful

by Stef   Dec 19, 2004

This rose is slowly dying, its petals falling to the floor
My life is slowly fading, as I collapse outside your door
My heart is finally empty; my will to live has disappeared
My love for you is killing me, with each and every tear.

The snow is floating downward, covering my soul
While I wait for you to notice me, this life that you stole
But you sit inside oblivious while I stare at your door
I knock on it, not once but twice, but still you ignore.

These eyes are still crying, wishing that you would see
The pretty, disturbing, porcelain mess you’ve made of me
You have always told me I’m so pretty in my pain
So won’t you come outside, I’m beautiful again.
