Letting go.....
that was tough
forgetting him.....
that was rough
but now when i think of his face
in my mind it starts to slowly erase
it was him i did adore
but its not that way anymore
he did break my heart
i did fall apart
i was full of hate
but now i see it was all just fate
to learn you must make a mistake
and i made a big one
he was such a fake
yeah i did cry those tears
but now i see they were just fears
fears of change
fears of a life without him
but back then
i didn't have a clue
life is about change and moving on
and now i have a fresh start
I'm now in tune to a happy song
he made me stronger
and for that I'll live a bit longer
so i guess i should thank him
for all that pain
and i will not feel any more shame...
