Marble Hallways

Can you even see me?
Do you know that i exist?
I wander constantly for evermore,
in this cloudy thickening mist.
I mark the days i wander,
i record them on my wrist,
my life is an endless drama movie,
containing a horror twist.

and i return to these marble hallways,
to sit in utter despair,
and try to figure out the reason why,
why my life is so unfair.

Just punch me, i won't feel it,
well it isn't like you care,
all you do is bruise me inside out,
there's no need for me to prepare.
I'm you're verbal and physical punch bag,
but it doesn't seem to hurt me,
it only leaves scars for people to see,
as a clue to my misery.

and i return to these marble hallways,
the only thing i know,
that lets me stay in one place for a while,
where my sadness will not show.

I'm naked in the darkness,
and i have no hero to call,
i don't deserve to walk on this earth,
I'm lucky to even crawl.
Suicide has struck my mind,
but that's just what they want me to do,
evil peels my happiness away like skin,
but I'll be strong as if I'm brand new.

and i return to these marble hallways,
where i stare at the shining floor,
and try to block out the images,
of my reality war.

As soon as i finish healing,
they re-open my wounds again,
but how ever much they hurt me,
my strength will never drain.
These people are not humans,
they are nothing of my kind,
because humans would never be this cruel,
and try to break my mind.

and i return to these marble hallways,
and cry until I'm weak,
and pray to the god that's apparently real,
to answer my prayers and speak.
