Her mistakes

by Caroline Golden   Dec 20, 2004

AS she ran her fingers over the smooth silver, she thought about all of the things that people say...do. She walked through the halls while people laughed and stared. She couldn't take it anymore. All of her emotions- her screaming pain that people had out her through was rushing through her body. She reached into her backpack and pulled out her anger- hatred- revenge. She pointed it at an innocent bystander releasing everything that she had been holding in. All of her suffering, the tears that had kept her up at night - all gone in that one metallic bullet. It was as simple as that right? She thought it was all over but now at that point she was more terrified than before. She thought of all the misery that had caused this reaction. She re aimed the easy way out at herself while starring down at the lifeless body. The dead soul that she had caused. Her past was running through her head...it was like turning the pages of an old photo album of bad memories. Then she thought about what was going to be of her future. What was going to happen if anybody had found out who did it. Without any hesitation she pulled the trigger. All of her hopes, dreams, future.....gone- in that one split second of gaffes.
