I tried to stop you
I tried to save you
You were hurting all your friends
I tried to show you
That they cared
I tried to be there
To be your friend
Cause I thought that’s what you wanted
I thought that’s what you needed
But you just turned your back
And ignored what I had said
So now I’m giving up
And I don’t care what you do
Just don’t come running back to me
When they give up on you too

    if you tried and failed its the friends lost right? i dont think so but i understand that when you get tired of trying you give up and when the person just doesnt listen its not your fault. im proud of your poem and of you trying so hard to stick by your friend keep rockin the poems
