Tears Of A Young Head

by Nici   Dec 20, 2004

A child lay crying so small and so frightened
As tears from her face poured onto her bed
The grip on her teddy bear quickly tightened
And sorrowful thoughts filled her young head

And so did these tears fall all through the night
To echo inside and fill the darkened air
A miserable mess which caused her a fright
Despair and torment that always seemed there

you describe the child as she is so innocent and the pain is yet so corrupt, so shattering! Another poem that made me cry so deep
