Night mare

by MelindaJoy   Dec 20, 2004

Your falling back wards
Into the swords
The nightmare is coming toward you
The monster so true

If only you knew it was coming
The drumming of the sound
Becoming so numb
The taste of rum in the air

Becoming so fair
You stare at the nightmare
Daring it to come closer
Smelling so gross

The ghost in your house
Are up about
You try to stay quite
As a mouse

You’re screaming in your dream
Your tears turn into streams
Running down your face
The pain is to the extreme

The gleam of light
Seem to be unreal
But you cannot heal
Because you can’t wake up

The feel of life
Begins to fade
The swords pin you down
And the monsters come

And eat you alive
This is worse then the knife
They find your body
In bed the next morning

And don’t bother with you
Because it wasn’t for real
They lay you in the ground
So the nightmare never ends

that's weird... was that one of your dreams? if it was, good job portraying it.
