Best Friend

You have a great heart,
For that you are my best friend.
From the very start,
And to the end.

From being my shoulder to cry on,
To sitting down at a picnic.
To making hemp on my front lawn,
To telling me to get better when I was sick

You have always been there,
When I first fell in love,
When we got in a huge dare.
To when we got in trouble for all the above.

You brought me up when I was down,
You were always there to make me glad.
To turn upside down that frown,
You keep me from not being sad.

I want to thank you,
For being my best friend.
I hope you do,
Stay with me until the end.
