Mother

by Cari   Dec 21, 2004

Why can't I stop her pain
Why must I feel this shame
I see you cry your tears
As you relive your fears
I see your bloodshot eyes
As i feel your presence die
Your lost in your own world
Taking your last step
I watch you fall into the ground
Your happiness was never found
The stillness of your body
Sending chills throughout my spine
Nothing but crazy thoughts flooding through out my mind

I curl up in a ball
Lost in sorrow and grief
I cut myself to sleep.
I feel so alone now that you've left my side
Depression has taken you from my grasp
I don't know how much longer I can last

Left behind a withering teen
Fallowing her shadow
her depression is unseen
Missing her mother but not a single tear is shed
By the time others notice
I'll be laying upon my death bed.
