Interminable Ghost

by Jesse Lafferty   Dec 21, 2004

Words of mine
Thoughts of yours
Will last time
Will strengthen the floors
At home where I lay
Awaiting judgment day
In another way
I find myself about to slay
This creation made of clay
To God I beg and I cry
I don’t deceive I don’t lie
Yet doubt lingers why
I do great you know I try
Respond I beg you reply
I understand love and life
I know the heart of meaning
I know you
True
But personally life changing
In it I mean to find my spirit
Though I find a holy significance
Follow the acceptance
You first lay your finger on
Wait till it’s never gone
