TIME FOR A STAND

by lovely__   Dec 21, 2004

SHE OPENED HER EYES
IT WASN'T A DREAM
THINGS WERE WHAT THEY SEEMED
HE HAD HOLLERED HIS PREJUDICE WORDS
SINGLING HER OUT
THE ANGER SHE FELT WAS IN NO DOUBT
SHE HAD TO LET GO
IT WAS TIME FOR A STAND
NO LONGER HOLDING IN,
NO LONGER WAITING FOR A HAND
SHE OPENED HER EYES IT WASN'T A DREAM
SHE WAS SELF-HARMING HERSELF
THINGS WERE.....WHAT THEY SEEMED.
