Forsaken trees of the forest,
The water path, salt portrays,
The shadows of hiding souls,
The tracks of hunting wolves,
I look in the icy past,
And feel for the horn of a unicorn,
Feel for the wings of an angel,
Search for the fire of a dragon,
So a fantasy is not a truth?
I search for it, I’ve got to find it soon,
My hands need warmth,
They need some gloves,
My mother used to knit me some,
Until I was just gone,
The beauty of the leafs,
As they get frozen,
And snow rains down upon,
The beauty of an angel,
Frozen in the wind,
The sweetness of her voice,
A singing harmony…
The purity of her mind,
Its something you can’t change,
Spirit in the deepness of the cave,
Come out at night,
Glowing from inside,
The silence as it walks,
The nurturing of its hands,
The kindness of its smile,
The birds fly free,
The sound of the morning song,
Its clear, the beauty of the chirps,
The wood that woodpeckers search,
The branch the owl perches upon,
Every blade of grass sings its own song,
All the greenery around makes a sound,
A peaceful whisper of the wind,
A gentle beat from within,
The frogs croak, the deer runs wild,
The badgers scurry deep underground,
Cry me a river, cry me a sea,
Make your sadness flow,
Let yourself become happy again,
Open up your eyes,
Embrace all your fears,
And show them the door,
Make them disappear,
Come and slip into the forest, forget it all
The nature is your charm,
Drag yourself into the light,
Slay your obsession with the darkness,
Living in a dream, it’s got to end,
Leading happiness astray,
It’s the wrong thing to do,
Making the river path all red,
You know it’s incorrect,
So let the forest surround you,
Let it purify your soul,
Let your hearing become,
One with all the fantasy,
Drink in all your evil,
Drink in all your good,
Make sure that you are seen,
Tell me your heart will survive,
The end, it’s not near,
You’re a child, you are innocent,
Please keep faith.
Just look down the road,
Feel the forest within your soul,
It will always be there,
And as you feel your way to the future,
The forest will guide you,
And like a leaf the spirit will nurture…
