On Every Rose

by Kristin   Dec 21, 2004

On every rose
there is the sign of two lovers
Torn from each other
Never to reunite

On every rose
is the softness of the angels wings
Heaven within every petal
From the sacrifice made

On every rose
There is the bond of eternal joy
Given in splendor
Though pain came first

On every rose
There is the love of a mother and child
The child saved the world
But his blood had to be poured
So every rose could be the innocence
We now adore
