Journey to Dragons Hollow: Part 11

by Lost but Smiling   Dec 22, 2004

*Do not read if you have not read parts 1-10. Sorry that this is getting so long!*

Ana did not sleep much at all that night. It was not because Willie was there. He had slept over before. She knew that the Old Woman was getting to her more than she needed to. There was just something in her gut that told the girl that lady was right. She finally drifted off to sleep somewhere around 5 and 6 a.m. The next thing she knew was she was being awoken by the annoying beeping of the alarm clock on her nightstand. She sat up sleepily. The green numbers read 8:30. Willie was already gone. Good she thought. If Travis had caught them...a shiver ran up her spine. She did not want to think about it. She dressed quickly. Leaving on her Blindside Tee. It was comfortable, she threw on some jeans with a hole in the knee. Then she trotted down the old dusty steps for breakfast. Breakfast was awful, it always was. Lorna could not cook to save her round little butt. Both twins anxiously waited to hear from the couple that had been observing them yesterday. If they said that they would take them it would be the happiest thing to happen to them in three years. At exactly 11:06 Sunday October 9th Anastasia and Carson Richmond were told that they would be going to live with Sebastien and Landon within the week. It was the happiest either of them had been, and the old lady's prophecy was at the back of Ana's mind.
