Deeper

Why can people look,
but never really see
The real feelings,
that are inside of me

Just because I smile,
and try to act happy
It doesn't mean much,
I could be feeling crappy

Most of my feelings,
are covered up by lies
No one seems to hear,
my desperate cries

Why do people,
always seem to look
Then automatically judge,
like the cover of a book

Why can't people,
try to see
A little bit deeper,
inside of me?
