I think about many things at times
Wondering why I sit here all day and try to ryhme
Trying to live life to the fullest and even more
Not paying attention to the highest score
The day you left me, it ripped my heart in half
Still remembering how you used to laugh
People say death take you to a better place
It doesn't matter what color, religion or race
We all have that time to face
All our lives, are like a maze
We all do need our times and space
Material objects that we all do craze
From begining of time and to the end
You can take it two ways, hardworking or bend
If you chose hardworking you can have your dream
But if you chose bend, your life is going to seem
It'll seem like you never made it
Because you never took the time of day; to work hard for it
So may I revise you to listen
Because one day your life may glisten
