Did you have the thought in mind?
Was it that you really got scared?
Was it just not the right time?

Was it because of your past?
Was it because of me?
Did you think I could not love you?
Did you think that I'd eventually leave?

Did you think I could not accept you?
Did you think I would try to change,
Your ways, your motives, or your life?
Did you think I'd drive you insane?

Did you just use me a little?
Was I just a passing fling?
Did you think I didn't have emotions?
Did you even wonder what pain this brings to me?

Was it because I have a child?
Was it because I'm a single mother?
Are you trying to let me down easy?
Because maybe you've found another?

Are you really that unfeeling?
Did your past really screw you up?
Don't you see I really love you?
Or don't you believe in such?

This poem is full of questions,
Thoughts strait from my heart,
Feelings that I have for you,
Are tearing my life apart!

Do you hear my crying?
Cant you even see?
Don't you even wonder about,
The things you are doing to me?

Am I supposed to sit here?
Am I supposed to just fade away?
Is this how you treat someone?
Is this what you do day to day?

I ask myself, why do I care?
I ask my self, whats the deal?
I am asking you right now,
To let me prove my love is real.
