The Confrontation

by Jesse Lafferty   Dec 23, 2004

Pure dark eyes beckon hate
Within her raven like features
The evil spirit grows irate
As the legion of a thousand creatures
Malevolent long thin fingers
Interweave through the child’s hair
Her green scowl lingers
As a coarse odor wisps the air
Red thoughts burning
For this innocuous child
Her stomach turning
From the pleasing spirits smile
A pure glow from within
Throws back the evil witch
And off her throne of sin
Down into the ditch
Never to rise again

I like this poem better than some of your other latest poems I have to say, but that's probably because I don't really enjoy reading inconsistant poems. But I kind of liked this one, reminded me of Disney or fairytale for some reason :S
