Would it be so bad if I weren’t here?
Will people care or even tear?
If I left this world would you notice?
Would you care if I slit my wrists?

Should I make a note?
Or should I just get the rope?
Should I tell you I love you?
Or just do what I have to?

What would my parents say?
Would they just walk away?
Will my sister cry?
Or does she think I deserve to die?

Will I have a coffin?
Or will they just dig a hole and throw me in?
Will people bring me flowers?
Or just stand around for hours?

Do I make you happy?
Do you think I’m pretty?
Do I make you proud?
Is my music too loud?

Live old, or die young
Say what you want or hold your tongue
These questions in my head
Would they be there if I were dead?
