Lifeless Motion

by Hannah Leigh Pate   Dec 23, 2004

Lifeless motion, she lays there
Beautiful soul turned dark
Wondrous life killed here
What he’s wanted from start.

*He killed her?
Right here in public?
That murderer
Was this the last trick?*

Lifeless motion, he strikes again.
A killing rampage he’s stuck in
But he never ceases
No, not the least.

*Why doesn’t he stop?
Does he like blood drops?
Does he need saving
From continuing nothing?*

Lifeless motion, child at play
Killer in making this very day.
Can he be helped before a real rampage?
Or do we kill him now, before it’s too late?

*Lifeless motion, God forgive me.
A young boy killed before his future attack.
Sorry for sin, but never the least,
I do not regret stabbing him in the back.*

Lifeless motion, her only son,
Take after mommy, her best intention.
Kill until the deed is done.
Now, they both lay dead. Lifeless motion.
