Unreal Existence (a song)

by Stef   Dec 23, 2004

She hurts so deep in her blackened heart
But she’s used to the pain
Every time she smiles she falls apart
And she’ll take all the blame
She’s torn at the seams, broken with dreams
Of a razorblade kiss, a crimson red wrist.

She’s perfect in imperfection
An expert with rejection
A lost cause with everything left to lose
It’s not who she is, but what’s her use
She’s honest in lies
And beautiful when she cries
An invisible person giving in to suicide
Her existence only real on the night that she died.

She taunts her sanity with a glorious fantasy
And she only wishes it were true
She tries everything to escape her haunting reality
Dreaming of gray sky turned blue
She’s lost in depression, she spills her confession
Out onto the street, as her veins slowly bleed

She’s perfect in imperfection
An expert with rejection
A lost cause with everything left to lose
It’s not who she is, but what’s her use
She’s honest in lies
And beautiful when she cries
An invisible person giving in to suicide
Her existence only real on the night that she died.

When her tears reached the sky
The world said goodbye
To a broken soul they never knew
Who could just as well have been you…

Repeat chorus

**This is the first song I've ever written...tell me how it turned out?**
