Retribution???

Tell me why the good die young my old friend,
Does God want to bless them before they can commit a sin?
Perhaps there aren’t enough angels in the sky to help out?
Maybe an innocent must decease for every guilty,
So that the sides are balanced in the eternal war between.

Whatever the case may be, reason or excuse.
I pray that heaven waits for everyone in the end,
And that love is how we cross the bridge of light
Before we too slip into the eternal passage of time
Have to say goodbye dear world, so beautiful and now cold.

May the angels bless those that deserve to rest in peace,
Not be disturbed as they lie, next to their beloved one.
Whom they shared so much with, the good and the bad.
Finally, you can come to no more harm, you have survived the worst
And died the nobliest death, the death brought by the icy wind of time.
