Help me find my way out

I cant keep in my tears anymore
I'm running just to find the door
that lets me out of this awful floor
that I've never been out of before

is it on my left or to my right?
I'm running down with all my fright
through that door is there light?
or through that door is it night?

running running without a care
or maybe one, i wish you were there
to say you love me and hold my hand
and tell me that you understand

there to help me through this maze
there to help me out of this haze
there to help me see through this glaze
there to help me through my faze

but you don't even know I'm here
you don't even know that I'm near
but i see your picture crystal clear
and if you were here you'd ease my fear

i just don't know what else to write
so ill put my pen down for the night
wipe away all my tears
and put aside all my fears

i lay down in my nice warm bed
and i still see you in my head
and i still need to find that door
to let my tears out some more
