Melody

Sorrow has taken its toll on me
A toll visible so that the eyes can see
Streaks across my wrist
And night of beautiful bliss

Yet I may have abandoned the dagger
But the music still plays on
The sweet sorrow of the world
Takes companies in my soul

My heart burns with the pain of sorrow
Little daggers stuck in my heart
I try to pull them out
But instead I pull the pin and it all spills out

Death seems so beautiful at times
Times when everything looks at you in disgust
The sweet melody will play its tune louder
And I try hard not to dance to its beat

Smile and smile I’ll continue to do
Please do not worry I know I’m doomed
The melody will play on
Yet I’ll continue to move on

The pain I inflicted once upon me
When death seemed like the only possible release

But do not worry about this little girl
