They (Based on the movie)

by MelindaJoy   Dec 24, 2004

One Man tries to warn them
It’s in the dark
This is there a sign
Don’t you hear
The children cry
The rain is making signs
And the electric goes
This is where they come
This is a story told
He’s telling all this to his old friend
That had the same
Children’s nightmare
She don’t get him
And she tries to understand
That’s when he looses it
And puts a gun in his hand
He tells her the pain
Just goes worse inside
But people think he’s crazy
But he knows he is not
He knows that he is not alone
He takes the gun
And puts it to his head
In one quick second
He is dead
Blood splatters all over her face
As everyone else starts to freak
All she could sit and stare
Not wipe one tear

She went home
And found her boyfriend there
She took a seat
And did her hair
She went to bed
And woke up
Couldn’t find anyone
And went to the bathroom
There black ink squirted
Out of the drain
She opened the cabinet
And what did she find
But a hole new world
Dark and shattered
She put her hand in wondering
What it is
Ink like cobweb
Is now on her hands
It’s wrapping around her
Making her figures disappear
Her Boyfriend comes in
And she hits him with her fist
He tells her everything is ok
She wakes up
And wonders
How she got to the bathroom
He tells her
She must have been
Sleep walking

The next day
She goes to the funeral
There she meets up
With two people
Anther girl named Marina
She goes up and goes up stairs
Sees how there are a thousand batteries in the drawer

That night she drives home
Thing craws on the ground
She continue on, and it goes for her attack
Runs right into the wind shield
And she runs into the ditch
Everything pitch black
She went out to fix her car
When the light shines
On something that was hit
It despairs into thin air
She takes the light away
And there it is
It is huge
She hurries back to her car
She starts up her car
Hoping to go far
There pops up her friend
That committed suicide
He told her
To look around because it’s coming
She falls out of her car
And almost gets hit
By a truck
She gets up and goes home

The next day
Marina comes over
And starts reading his journal
And now they are studying it
The only thing that keeps them away
And lets them keep their life
Is the light
He has been to there world when he was five
They planted something in him
Some kind of scare
And it got worse
They are coming back for him
Then the journal ends

Marina boyfriend asks
If she is having night terror lately
She admits it
They say good us too

They go home
And Marina goes to the pool
Trying to cool off
So she can get her mind together
She jumps in and begins to swim
The lights flicker off
And she begs someone to turn them on
The pool turns back
And she runs for her life
She would rather take the knife
They lock her in
And attack

Her Boyfriend calls
The old friend
And tell her that she’s missing
And something’s wrong
She leaves
And the lights go off
When he is painting
The water burst
The candles are gone
He breaks the window
And tries to get someone’s attentions
But everyone is in there own world
He goes to the elevator
And presses down
The elevator flies down
He gets off
Then something grabs him
He starts to scream
And they pull him under the elevator

The old friend
Goes sees her old therapist
She meets a girl named Sarah
Sarah’s mom is in heaven
She asks Sarah
If she has any night mares
Sarah says sometimes
And she asks what do they want
Says say they come
They come to eat me
Pulls up her arm
And there is the same scare

She talks to her therapist
About what’s going on
He thinks she is crazy
Because last time she had him
Her dad committed suicide
Now this must be
About her friend

She goes home
And sees something in her closet
She fights back
And runs for her life
There comes the mark
She runs into the bathroom
And pulls out a huge splitter type thing
She runs to her bf
Her bf gives her sleeping pills
She runs out to the subway
And throws up
She gets on a subway
And the train stops
They come and get her
She fights for her life
The security guards find her
And she stabs one
And fights for her life

She’s in a home
They tell her everything is going to be all right
She is in the light
She tries to leave
But the doors are locked
There comes them

They hear a scream
And go in the room
There is broken glass
On the floor
How could she do this?
This room was bullet proof
They go to the closet and look in
Nothings there
Except for a few moving hangers

They’re in their world
She is screaming to let her out
But he can’t see her
This world wont let her go
It’s like a window glass door
When she hit it
It turns into black ink cobwebs
He closes the door
And she screams out NO
And no one can even hear her
Make one sound
They attack her
And this is where the story ends
