Lost

Maybe its crossed my mind before
but i let it slip away
till i cant think of it anymore
and i forget just what to say

my eyes may fill with tears
but i don't know why they're there
like a room thats filled with mirrors
and i forget who's image is there

peoples names that should mean something
but they come across me as blank
my heart breaks and negative thoughts sink
but i don't feel the pain

like blood streaming down my arm
after a slit wrist
i don't feel the harm
it just appears as a red mist

the first taste of your kiss
or the way it made me feel
something i cant remember but i miss
cut wounds to heal
