Im going on a date with my girl tonight
im meeting her parents so ive got to be polite
we talked about this, that and some other stuff
and her dad said i was nice enough
we decided to walk through the park
where it was romantic but not too dark
with the lights shining on down
our footsteps were the only sound
we had been walking for so very long
so we found a bench to sit upon
i held her close and took a risk
as i leaned in for just one kiss
she playfully pushed me away
laughing i let her have her way
we heard footsteps but paid them no heed
because honestly there was no need
the man stopped in the light in front of us
he said \"give me your money, i dont want a fuss\"
at this point he pulled out a gun
this date was getting alot less fun
i told him we had no money
so he said \"ill just take you, honey\"
then he turned the gun on me
as he shot my girl jumped in front of me
he took off running after the shot
leaving us there to rot
all she could say was \"i love you\"
so i held her and said \"i love you too\"
as i held her and stared into her glassy eyes
all i could manage to do was cry
then the tears streamed down my face
and only her blood to take thier place
