Not bad for a first try! Keep it up! I have written about 40 or 50 poems since august (most not on this account) anys- i got a few points to help ya out chicka!
1. whe you are decribing something, and youd describe it as a sentence, then make it a sentence long.
2. experiment a little, try things out, there are so many ways to ryhme lol
3. Add metaphors to describe something- for example, crimson tears- as cutting. It makes it more interesting and original
4. read a bit, i have read a lot of poetry and its helped me to improve
5. enjoy yourself, get yourself emotionally envolved in wot your writing. it makes it more meaningful, not just to those who are reading it, but you as well!
