Why'd you have to go?
Why'd you have to leave?
Why'd you have to go?
Couldn't it have been me?
I'm the one who deserved it,
I should have gotten stabbed.
I'm the one who needed it,
I should have gotten grabbed.
You never did anything bad,
You hardly ever messed up.
You never made anyone mad,
You were like a little pup.
You didn't see it coming,
Nobody did.
You died while i was running,
You were just a kid.
I was holding you,
As you took your last breath.
I was carrying you,
As you bled out your chest.
Why'd you have to go?
Why'd you have to leave?
Why'd you have to go?
Couldn't it have been me?
I took the bike,
It wasn't you.
I called him spike,
And did the glue.
It should have been me,
You were just a kid.
Why'd you have to leave,
For something that i did?
