Fear The Man Who Fights For Love ( Part 77)

by ntv650   Dec 26, 2004

There is something very dark,
It’s buried somewhere inside my heart.

Never does it reach the surface,
Forever lurking, forcing me appart.

Temptation is it’s sinister name,
Lucifer’s device to adhere guilt and pain

Sacred ritual cannot heal this curse,
So powerful, that I may even loose

I cannot help but let it take me away,
Despite facing my demons and asking them to leave

They laugh at my plea and push the knife deeper,
Leaving me on the ground, so shattered I can only utter a whimper.

Then as though through a miracle, just as another sin I am about to commit
A nearly faded memory, a lost trace found again, ignites my heart and the demons squeal

Fear the man who fights for love, I am about to shout,
Instead I whisper into the cowering evil spirit’s ear
“Tremble in terror before the man that fights for love lost... he is here”
