No, Daddy, Don't!

by Broken Inside   Dec 26, 2004

Come on, sissy
We have to go to daddy’s.
Don’t be afraid.
Daddy's okay now.

You see,
My daddy used to be bad.
He’d hit and scream,
And always be mad.

When mommy moved us away,
He got a little bit better.
We could even see him every other day.
The abuse suddenly faded away.

He hit my mommy really bad,
And made her hit her head.
She made it through that time,
But promised to never go back.

Mommy never spoke to him again,
But he still wanted to see us.
One day we went to his house,
And he pulled out a gun.

My sister screamed and shook,
And begged for her life.
But Daddy showed no remorse,
And pulled the trigger.

I tried to run, I really did.
Daddy was just too fast.
Suddenly I was on the ground,
With only one single blast.

That night Daddy ran away,
Leaving us on the ground.
Nothing could have saved us then,
Daddy took our lives away.
