I wait another night for you,
But you never came,
I waited an extra hour,
Your still not here.

Another day, another night,
Another futile wait,
Another crack in my heart,
Another tear falls.

I’ll not sleep tonight,
Restless dreams of pain,
I fear your hurt,
I cry for you.

I’ll wake tired hurting,
Food makes me ill,
And I have a headache,
Still I turn on the computer.

Again I sit and wait,
The day flies by,
And I have dinner to eat,
I leave the computer on.

I could not eat the food,
I threw it back up,
Now I sit crying,
The pain and hunger hurting.

Another night of waiting,
Your still not here,
Another pointless wait,
Another tear is shed.

The days fall into each other,
I talk with you less and less,
I’m ill, and tired.
I love you.
