All Hope is Lost

by Kristin   Dec 26, 2004

Who could live in a world
where all hope is lost?
We all live in this world,
I think the line, we have crossed.

We blow up other humans,
with the pull of a trigger,
no one seems to care.
They think their world is bigger.

Why are we cloning creatures?
Why are we thinking this way?
How come we have to do this?
Is this is the price we must pay?

We are worrying about going to Mars,
when we can't even live on earth,
We are the country of the stars,
But what exactly is it worth?

We worry about other poor countries,
when people in the U.S. are dying.
How come no one helps them?
We lie and say we are trying.

We have been hit hard,
and many troops have died,
they aren't ever on the news.
Why did no one cry?

Other things are more important,
like politicians, and lies,
what has this world come to?
We really aren't too wise.

Who could live in a world
where all hope is lost?
We all live in this world,
I think the line, we have crossed.
