Lonely Riverside Girl

There once was a girl who moved to a new place
she changed schools, made new friends
and thought there was going to be no more pain

she met this guy who seemed so perfect
he was beautiful, sweet and caring
he gave off a loving effect

they were perfect together, as perfect as could be
two months went by quickly
carefree and so happily

Then the girl liked his best friend
not a good sign, the boyfriend was angered
he was through and made it end.

the girl gave up her friendship with his friend
cuz she loved her boo enough
but i guess love hadn't conquered his heart like hers

at only 15 the girl experienced heart break
it was shattered so much, and hard to make
it through with out shedding tears

she was soon to find that her baby boy
had liked another girl while they went out
and the heart ache and pain had grown

she wondered why she had to feel such pain
so early in her life
and wanted her baby boy back to take the pain away

he begged her to take him back because he had made a mistake
and the girl stupidly accepts
thinking her pain would fade away

Things were going great and her heart
started healing then it was all
downhill from there

he took her for granted
slowly cracking her into two
she even promised herself that if he hurt her again
then she would have to say that it was through

her heart wasn't ready to let go of her love
but she was sick of the the heart ache
and through with the pain

she ended their relationship and
by then her heart was eaten away
then she found out he didn't care
because he "loved" her best friend

she figured her friend would never
love him and add to her pain but
i guess she was wrong yet again

they never went out but said i love you
the girls life had hit rock bottom
and she had no where to turn, nothing left to do

her boyfriend was gone and her
best friend was a backstabber
and she could never trust anyone again.

she'd been told that there are
some things in life you don't share
and a boyfriend is one of them

the girl had nothing left...her heart
was disintegrated and it
left her crying soul behind

her ex-boyfriend moved away
without ever saying goodbye
but the girl could care less cuz
she had erased him from her life

its been two months since the girl
had given up on his love
but still the memories wont fade away

the love in her heart had turned to hate
a hate for what he did to her,
to make her not trust or love anyone again

she wonders if her heart will feel love
or the feeling of warmth again
